STEM Partnership

We are immensely proud to have such an amazing STEM partner with St Stephen’s School as their exclusive Northern Suburbs host – an “inspirational and aspirational environment”. St Stephen’s School is focused on equipping the next generation with important STEM skills.

“It’s about creativity, it’s about collaboration, and most importantly, letting your imagination run free.” Donatella Beare, Principal St Stephen’s School.

What is Neuroawesome?

Managing Director of STEMSmart Andrea Conte is passionate about  teaching every child about the incredible world of digital technology – we think being #neuroawesome is about showcasing the talent of neurodiverse students and offering them a platform to learn about STEM and Digital Technology. We can offer opportunities to learn outside of the mainstream and in a structured way that has proven to be valuable to students.

STEMSmart adopts a strength-based approach which, supported by research, is proven to be effective in working with children who are neurodiverse.

In partnership with the Curtin Autism Research Group, STEMSmart has tailored this course to cater to neurodiverse #awesome students.

We are offering two online courses this April school holidays for neurodiverse kids – Teen Coding with Python and Video Game Design.

This course will be the subject of a research effort into the impact of remote learning for neurodiverse students by Curtin University’s Autism Research Group.
